Compliance Officer

A Compliance Officer is required by MyLegacy Insurance Services.

Qualifications:

  • A background in compliance and/or the insurance services sector is required.
  • Prior expertise with agent licensing, provincial regulations, and compliant sales practices is regarded as a major benefit.
  • It would be beneficial to be familiar with PIPEDA, FINTRAC, CISRO/CCIR, and CLHIA guidelines.
  • Stick to established policies and practices.
  • Proficient with Office 365 and possessing strong computer abilities
  • Capable of handling challenging circumstances with a positive, upbeat mindset.
  • Use a cordial tone when communicating difficult information to others by phone and email.
  • Positivity and the capacity to take constructive criticism.
  • Outstanding analytical abilities.
  • Strong time-management and planning abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Functions well under pressure and is flexible.
  • Reliable and Trustworthy
  • The ability to speak French or Spanish is viewed well.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of organising, carrying out, and monitoring procedures to control risk-related factors.
  • Creating, putting into action, and overseeing the Company's compliance programme.
  • Work together with regulators to maintain and update policies.
  • Create and write all communications and company compliance policies.
  • Arrange for Agents and Head Office Staff to receive the necessary training.
  • Examine, evaluate, and apply province and corporate policies to diverse circumstances.
